The Office of Risk Management and Insurance (Risk Management) manages risk associated with teaching, research and support operations.
Our staff work to identify and analyze three key risk exposures:
Liability for bodily injury and property damage
Physical damage to the university’s property
Liability for causing others to suffer financial loss
The George Washington University Office of Risk Management has recently assumed all Risk Management responsibilities for the MFA. Additional details will be provided soon.
If a GW students' personal property is stolen or damaged in their residence hall room, it can cost them a lot of money, time and frustration to replace. With this in mind, the university recommends that students insure their personal property.
